INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Do not look at the questions before listening. You don't get questions first in a real life conversation.
-
Listen to the conversation and answer the questions.
-
Try to complete the questions after listening only 1 time. If this is not possible, it's ok to listen a second time.
-
The more you practice listening exercises, the better your skills will become and you will only need to listen 1 time in the future.
Good luck!

Phil: Jason, I heard you just got back from a trip. Where did you go?
Jason: I went to Miami for a long weekend. It was amazing!
Phil: Sounds fun! How did you travel there?
Jason: I flew from Chicago. The flight was about three hours. I stayed at a small hotel near the beach.
Phil: What did you do during your vacation?
Jason: I spent most of my time on the beach, tried some incredible Cuban restaurants, and walked around the art districts. South Beach was particularly interesting.
Phil: Did you do any water activities?
Jason: Yes! I went paddleboarding one morning. It was my first time, and it was challenging but really enjoyable.
Phil: Wow, that sounds exciting! Do you travel often?
Jason: Not as much as I'd like. Maybe two or three short trips a year. But I'm trying to explore more.
