INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Do not look at the questions before listening. You don't get questions first in a real life conversation.

  2. Listen to the conversation and answer the questions.

  3. Try to complete the questions after listening only 1 time. If this is not possible, it's ok to listen a second time.

  4. The more you practice listening exercises, the better your skills will become and you will only need to listen 1 time in the future.

     Good luck!

Sam: Excuse me, can you help me? I’m looking for the milk.

Jake: Sure! The milk is in aisle seven, near the yogurt and cheese.

Sam: Aisle seven? Oh no, I just came from there! I only saw dog food.

Jake: Ah! You were in aisle seventeen. Milk is in aisle seven.

Sam: Oops! I guess I was reading the signs too fast.

Jake: No problem! Just go straight, turn left at the fruit section, and you’ll see it.

Sam: Okay, got it. Straight, left at the fruit... Wait, is that where the bread is?

Jake: No, that’s the bakery. The fruit section is next to the vegetables.

Sam: Oh! I see it now. Thank you so much!

Jake: You’re welcome! And if you get lost again, just follow the smell of fresh bread.

Sam: Haha, good idea!
